I have around 60 plants, with a variety of different types of tobacco plants. I am having a kiln custom made for the curing. Any recommendations of how big this kiln should be to hold this many leaves? It will be built like a huge horizontal freezer. 10 x 4 x 4 feet? 15 x 4 x 4 feet? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Probably the 10 x 4 x 4 size would do all the leaf you raise, if packed correctly. Do a trial run of course.

Hello Jeff -

Mine is 4 x 4 x 8 vertical, holds 130 - 150 plants. Leaves are stacked in 3 tiers with heat and humidity in the bottom. Pix on the How To Grow Tobacco site photo gallery, page 2, under my name.
