I like your cooler. What type refr. unit are using? Temperature? How long are you hanging before processing? My buddy had an egg farm and we'd hang our deer for several days in the egg cooler. Made a big difference in taste/tenderness.
Its a 110 Ac with a thermastat that cools to 40 degrees. We like to let them hang at least 5 days but we run out of room this year and had to clean one at 2 days.I can tell you it makes a lot of diffance.
It sure does. My buddy sold the egg farm several years ago and we've all been missing the egg cooler. I've got to show them these pictures and go in together and build one. Thanks for posting them.
