General questions on storage

Hello to All-

I've been a lurker for awhile and apologize for not introducing myself earlier. I am a casual cigar smoker and enjoy rolling my own. I just bought some of Don's filler & wrapper leaf. Question-How long can I store in the bags the leaf was shipped? Can I put the whole unopened bags in my coolerdor? Should I dry out & store dry?

Hi Chris and welcome to FTT. In my experience the answer is yes if the storage area is not too humid. Moisture goes thru even "vapor proof" plastic but much mor slowly. Don ships leaf in good case for storage. It may dry out a bit with expended storage but it is easy to re-hydrate. -- John

Thanks Johnlee. I use a Coleman 42 qt cooler as my humidor. It is rock solid at 70% RH.
