soon it will be here, and the plot, will be bigger, and i can strart the process, of getting the rows covered, and ready,

i cover all my rows, for weed control, and stake all my plants,

i like to have my grow neat, so it's less worrisome, when i battle ,the hornworms,

if im cutting BAMBOO,,,,i try to get them 5' tall.

but ive found that regular '' SURVEY STAKES'' do good also,

5 feet will need to look for some cheap wood can't find bamboo here....Do have a baby Bamboo on the kitchen window sill

chicken is the reason my road took so long to get paved last year! He kept takin all the grade stakes. He likes the ones with orange paint on top and a black line in the middle . LOL

Can't you buy bamboo canes in the shops there? Every garden centre here in the UK sells them from 2ft to 12ft sizes. Definitely cheaper to get a plant and grow your own though ... it's very prolific!
