I have been using tank water on half my sprouts and tap / well water on the other half the trays.
The tank water trays have algee I think growing on top the dirt it looks yellow in pics verses the black dirt
They seem to love it.
Any reason not to use it ?
They were started for germination march 10,
Thanks.
Tom

It looks like the plants are doing better with the tank water, maybe the added nurtients and algae. If from the fish tank, slightly higher carbon dioxide.

I would say if the plants like it then let them be the judge. Roll with it. I hear a dead fish placed in the bottom of a hole when planting other things makes for a really healthy plant.

The tank water has nitrogen and other elements in it. Good for plants. I do the house plants with it and some azalea shrubs and they all do well.

I hope you have a lot of fish for all those plants?;) If the better looking plants have been supplied with tank water.
