Is there a chart of the expected mature plant height for strains of tobacco? Trying to see if I can steal some space in a raised bed or two.

Growing Dom Olor, Havana 41, Havana 142, Machu Pichu, Yellow Twist Bud & White Flower.

Thanks.

Chris

I too would be interested in this. but I also know from experience that climate, sunshine and location are all Involved in height and leaf production. I planted some virginia gold in the north island and got 7ft plants the same seed down here where I am now produced plants that just got to 5,8ish

In 2012, the Olor grew to about 60" and the Machu Picchu to 56" (to the crow's foot). I have not grown the others.

For me, Havana 142 grew to about 6 feet, Yellow Twist Bud was about 4 feet tall but fairly wide and White Flower was about 5 to 6 feet tall.

This is probably of no use but last year my CT shade topped 11' and HAD to be supported. I chose to use overhead wire and string ties. (See my grow log for details/pics if needed.)
