I came up with a new blend recently (after the contest) that I like a lot especially in the summer. It's super simple: 2 parts Bright Leaf, 2 parts Lemon Virginia, and 1 part Turkish.

How do you sweat yours?
Put a med to large pile in kiln
First 2 weeks temp 125F and RH 70%
Third and Fourth weeks temp 130 - 132F and RH 80% plus minus 2%

This is how I did the first batch and it is all I'll smoke now.. Comes out like an old time reg cigarette from 20 - 25 years ago full flavor and smooth.

The second batch is being done differently
Tobacco Pile is about 30 LBS
First 2 weeks temp 125F and RH 70%
Last two weeks Tobacco Pile temp 114F and 80% - 83% RH

True that. Last summer when it was gettin real hot I liked making a blend of brightleaf and Bitlis. Weather cooled down and it weren't the same.

Burley heavy blends for winter... Virginias for summer... that's how I roll.
