After spending more time smoking the WLT Turkish, it definitely has more varietal character than C&D Izmir and D&R Ramback, and of course more than the mild blends like PS Turkish and Newminster Oriental. This Turkish does not "disappear" when blended. Considering the stems and ribs are "nonexistent", and the low price, you really get a lot for your money. Great stuff! :)

I guess I am the only one who smokes this stuff. lol Now there are two to choose from, life is good.

Comparing the Izmir to the new Prilep. The Izmir has loads of varietal flavor, the best for hardcore Turkish fans. If you never tried real Turkish, WLT Izmir is the one to learn from (real Turkish does not taste anything like Camel cigarettes, who knows what they use, recon turkish perhaps). The Prilep is milder in flavor and Turkish character, has it's own great taste, and perfect for those who think they don't like Turkish. Prilep marries well in any blend I have tried. Both are great, I think some of the best examples out there. Cheap too, worth manually shredding no matter how you look at it.
