With the recent talk about Silver River being a Burley or not being a Burley I would love to send a sample to a lab and get it tested for Nicotine, Nornicotine and Sucrosester content. Anyone know of a lab that does that kind of testing?
I believe that it probably is a Burley but more of a primitive type. By that I mean it does not seem to have modern tobacco genes, if that makes any sense.
My experience is that it is one of the mildest tobaccos I've grown. It does not remind me of a Burley when I smoke it.
