hi jimi in wet ireland, first time grower, having good success with monte calme yellow, nice with a wee bit of drum bought stuff, verginia is on the go too, still hanging in the shed, doesnt taste good, time is needed i have been told

Welcome to the forum. There are many ways to finish you tobacco depending on what your intended use is. I don't think I've ever known anyone to grow in Ireland, but I suspect it does grow rather well there.

i bet your one of a very few that grows thier own personal crop in ireland,,,

but then again when i think,,'' back-country'' the small towns off the beaten track,,,

i think of farmers and people that raise livestock,,,

i bet it's a beautiful country you live in,,,

i did read somewhere about it grown commercialy a long time ago, i got started in a gardening class, i was the only one to get something worth smoking, last year wasnt too good for any plants, lack of sunlight and cold. usualy its mild and wet, but i was impressed with what i got ,and this year i hope to get better, and more
