All that I read of it was the bit about tobacco containing high concentrations of ammonium nitrate, and how heat forces it out of the leaf. The author clearly has no understanding of what's happening during fermentation. The ammonia that is liberated is created by the degradation of albuminous proteins.

Perhaps the remainder of the text is loaded with pearls.

EDIT: It is interesting that they published a book on a tobacco subject.

EDIT 2: I do appreciate your posting the link. The book is clearly directed at cigar smoking, rather than tobacco processing. I'm just grumpy about incorrect information that so many cigar experts put into print, without first verifying their copy and paste assumptions.
