It may not taste perfect or look perfect but I will enjoy it just the same. Why? Because it is mine. My first tobacco and My first attempt at rolling a cigar. Just cured lugs.....nothing special.

Filler one leaf each silver river and YTB. Binder & wrapper from Lonnie's havannah.

So off to cut grass then reward myself.

Hard to do a proper review on my phone better review to follow..I will just say I enjoyed it (really was good) and have much to learn about rolling cigars.

For sure no suffering involved and will make another tomorrow.

Pretty first cigar. I still can't roll them that pretty. Mine look like backwoods smokes but they do draw well.

Some quick notes on the first one: filler too damp and rolled too tight. Had to run a thin bamboo through it to get a good draw. flavor was mild but very good. Had to relight too often because ofthe damp filler. ay smoked it till it about burnt my fingertips.

Now for the good. Decided to do it right the second try......make two, invite a friend, and pour a sipping glass of Crown Royal to go with it.

Dryer filler made a big difference. The second half was especially good when it warmed and flavor really showed.

To summarize my friends unbiased opinion:
"I have spent good money on cigars not this good" followed by: "can i pay you for a few to give my grandfather for Christmas?"

Learning curve: i found i can roll the binder a littleloser than i want then roll the cigar back and forth on the table to tighten it. Checking the draw as i go until satisfactory.i
