Yes, there's no nicotine in the tobacco seeds but just after germination they start to produce nicotine. In old times when the cheap palm oil was not available (wide spread) there was a cheap mixed type industrial frying oil made up with tobacco, cotton and sunflower seed oil. Some of them used to contain hazelnut, corn and low quality olive oil. Especially flax seed oil mix was really awfull and smelly.

There was a plan to build a biodiesel plant in İzmir to produce biodiesel from tobacco seeds but I don't know if they build it.

When I stip My seed shells, They stick just like the leaf. Never smoked em. I think it would be a wast of money to make any bio product outher than mulch. Due to the chems. to make it happen. To much involved in the process I would think. Hum
