Luckily no tobacco in the land yet

What the hell is wrong with this weather???? Had another hail storm yesterday, bigger than golf balls. People lost cattle, roofs, caravans etc. The worst thing is, looks like another is on the way. When do I plant cigar tobacco, can only wait till mid December, hopefully this hail will stop soon. Wish me luck.

Thats like baseball size!!! Poor animals. .would have been like being shot with a small cannom ball!! Not to mention all the vechiles damaged. .insurance payment getting put up cause of all the claims. .no good brother

The thing is, we know it`s going to happen. Very, very hot and then the cumulus clouds come. Bad news. Friend of mine, commercial tobacco farmer, had bad hail on his young stuff ( before topping) cut them to get regrowth, and just finished the cutting and got another hail storm, think the poor guy gave up now. Really feel for him, its his bread and butter.
