    1020 starter trays

I found a new source for starter trays. I ordered ten 72 cell 1020 inserts for $8.00 plus $7.99 shipping. Total $15.99.
Growers Supply for comparison: Ten inserts for $9.50. Shipping $15.16. Total $24.66.

Anyone looking for a good price on a seedling heat mat will find on Knucks' link the lowest price I've seen: $20.85 for a mat that fits a single 1020 tray.

Good find, Bob. I wish I had seen that before I ordered the inserts. I'll add one to my next order. I have two double mats and need one single so I can do five trays.

Another plus to the site is that they take paypal. My former go to store required a credit card.

The double mats are a better deal than two single mats, and two foot fluorescents will span the double mat, or four ft. fluorescents will span two double mats.
