That all-olor blend is something I recommend to people who tell me they want to order some leaf from LO, just as I recommend all-Corojo to those who say they want to buy from WLT. Did you get that blend idea from me/blisscigar?

Yes you did, and thank you for the recommendation.

result: perfect draw, very good to excellent burn, very floral and extremely complex excellent cigar. still not near the best cubans had, but best roll to date. going to let the rest repose, be interesting to see what they're like in 6 mo, 1 yr, 2 yr.

Considering that the best Cubans are often pretty bad at 1.5 years, it would be nice to see how this blend does at 2+, for sure. Maybe it's got less room for growth since it already doesn't suck, but still.

No. 12, for this one I intentionally wanted to see how tight I would have to bunch to get a to tight a draw without increasing filler case. The mission was a success, and it gave a better understanding of how much bunching pressure the binder can take.

It was still smokable, just had to double puff to get a decent amount of smoke. The ash also bent as it burned. Does anyone know what this is from, I'd assume it's uneven compression of the filler?

A little chilly today, but not too cold to smoke a home rolled!

This is my favorite blend I have made so far.
1 Coro Ligero
1 Nicaraguan habano viso
1 Coro seco
Nic binder
San Andres wrapper

Rolled 2 yesterday, smoked one today. The other will sit for a while.

Nice full bodies smoke, with med med-high nic (im pretty sensitive). Spicy, creamy, earthy, slightly chocolate. I think next time i'll try 1/2 ligero and up the seco. I like pepper and spice, but really prefer the desert flavors. IMG_3412.jpg

Sounds like a nice combo. The Corojo and Nic Habano blend together super well.

No. 13, first rolled with an actual wrapper leaf. Unspecified Nicaraguan wrapper, Olor ligero binder, and filler was 3 Olor secos 1 Olor ligero.

Interestingly the Olor ligero when used as a binder or wrapper have dominate rich chocolate flavors, whereas using the ligero as just a filler leaf crates a more subdued and subtle chocolate flavor.

How long do let yours dry? I’ve been rolling decent looking sticks and letting them sit on my desk for about a day and the wrapper always cracks as it dries.
