Saturday 2am this rogue wind came through our little village. It distroyed 90% of the regions tobacco crops, uprooted 100`s of big old trees, roofs blown off. We don`t get tornado`s in SA, but I`m sure this must have been one. The picture is of my neigbours centre pivot that the wind picked up and overturned. Luckely for me it missed me and my tobacco is still okay.

I hope everyone is safe. Wind is a very powerful thing. Most people don't realize its power until they go through it. Glad you came out OK.

You're having a bad weather year Ben, I hope things turn around for the better.

Where does the water for the center pivot come from? A well? Does a wind mill power the pump?

Water drawn from rivers, with centrifugal pumps. We do have wells (boreholes as we caal them) but not very strong, mostly for drinking water and animal water points.

Some pictures of my neighbours tobacco.
