Beautiful YTB, J!

It makes for a good stand-alone, but some turkish blended in is even better.

j, u r doing very well.
If stems r dried...
early one morning, when humidity is high, take 'em down and pack 'em away in a paper bag or cardboard box.
Take that indoors where the temp/humidity is more stable.
Sample a leaf from each lot every 3 months.
u will learn the benefits of aging.
Best

Thanks BT, I think I am going to make some sauce with the tomatoes, seeing how I got more plum tomatoes than expected. I have made two quarts of salsa so far, and they are already gone. :)

Is there a thread on how to grow suckers? Do you remove them from the stalk and replant? Or do you leave them on the stalk?

Pick out the best looking low sucker, cut/break the other suckers off and cut the old stalk above the sucker that you want to keep. The sucker will become a "new" plant that already has a full root system.

When I stalk harvest I leave about 10" of stalk above ground. In a couple weeks, the "stumps" have several suckers, just remove all but the strongest one. Some varieties do better at this than others, nearly every one of my havannas regrew last year; but only a couple of my YTB. Silver River was so late finishing, I did not even get to try a regrow.
