I honestly don't think subjective experience would be very helpful ... it would be the difference between opinion and knowledge. It will, however, be interesting to hear what the growers think about this question.
Did not mean it to be a difficult question.
My WLT leaf ranking: Turkish, Bright and Lemon, Red flue cured, Maryland, Dark Fired, Burley. Not the best example, none are specific varieties. Anything past the Bright and Lemon, I feel it everytime. yrmv

If you're looking for the highest nicotine...Green River One Sucker is the variety the industry contracts to grow for high nicotine. I was told Rustica (India) used to be the most popular, but the high nicotine has been bred out of this type tobacco. This information comes from a factory who needs to provide a specific recipe for its clients.
BigBonner's TN90 is fairly robust, especially the "red tips" that I usually get from him. Kelly burley that I have grown is generally milder, but still more nicotine than most flue-cure varieties. Both the Harrow Velvet and Golden Burley that I have grown were the mildest burleys that I've tried. Harrow Velvet and Kelly produced some lovely, thin, light-colored cigar wrapper from the lugs.Anyone care to rank these Burleys? YTB, Green Brior, Harrow Velvet, Golden Burley, Kelly, and TN90. Based on your smoking experience, average leaf, normal grow conditions, not blended, scientific or not, and so on. If not tried all of them, rank the ones you can. Thanks in advance.
Looking for rankings. Anyone care to rank these Virginias? Virginia Bright Leaf, Virginia Gold, Delgold, Cherry Red, Big Gem, Southern Beauty, Gold Dollar, and African Red. Based on your smoking opion. Rank the ones you can. Thanks in advance.
