Had my first try at canning today picked up a pressure canner at an estate sale and some chicken at the meat market, it was a success probly do a lot more this winter

When canning meat, be meticulous about following the canning instructions. Since it is a low acid food, a bad batch might turn out to be your own private stock of Botox.

Can't wait to try this Jupiter burley been in the kiln almost 4 weeks and is smelling good

That leaf looks good. Most of the burleys that I've grown needed several weeks of rest after kilning. Otherwise they were notably harsh.

I finally got all the stalks pulled up and on the fire pit, now the kiln will be working overtime, with all the baccy I harvested this year I will still be kilning in march when I start my 2015 grow

That almost looks like jerky, nice brown cured smokey looking.

Greg, is the Jupiter full flavored, or mild like the white stem burleys?

No it is full flavored like my regular burley just taller and some big leaves
