Stolak 17

I just tested some of Johnlee's 2013 air cured Stolak 17. Really interesting. It's a flue cured variety but it also has a perfumey, Turkish-like overlay on top of the flue cured Virginia flavor. I think I'll grow some next year.

Somebody earlier was looking for Stolak 17, was it Maks? I noticed the Skychaser is carrying it on his seed site: www.northwoodseeds.com. If it wasn't Maks it should have been, lol. It was imported from Yugoslavia. I've looked at it a couple of times but just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Thanks for posting. I sure miss Johnlee. He was a one in a million.

I think you are do right if you choose to grow it, had thought about buying it when I began to grow. Don't know why I didn't do it. Know a Czech man who has. It both in the pipe mix and to chewing tobacco. Interesting variety, I think
