Adding tobacco to this years garden; in a very arid place looking for advice.

I have been enjoying this forum for afew weeks. I have seed started Va 116. and they place I got them sent this "Ancient Tobacco" for free so I planted some of them as well. have my plants in pint cups waiting to get them big enough to put in the ground. been hardening them off for few days. trying to figure out their water need.
burned afew of them with fert. still am hoping to get 50-60 plants to make it. started another 30 Va 116 about 4 weeks later.
