In honor of all those who have made our freedoms possible, I salute you. I will be enjoying this weekend by slow cooking a brisket started at noon today and cook thru the night. I have to celebrate early due to schedule. If all goes as planned I will post a mouth watering pic.

Everyone be safe.

I used to buy these 3-4 times the size for .69 a lb.this son of a bitah was closer to 5.00 a lb. I live in cattle country. When you could bend them in half they weren't too much fat. I probably overcooked this piece a little. I'm a little rusty. But it dissapeared awful quick.

I have a pork butt goin for tomorrow. Its thawing now. I am running out of hog meat and will have to go hunting soon. 2 -200 plus lb hogs lasts me half a year. For a skinny little ****ar like me.
