Hey there, Webmost ran a contest a little while ago and got me interested in rolling cigars.
Any info would be appreciated.

You from cigar.com ? Welcome to FTT.

You will need,

tobacco leaves (go to whole leaf tobacco, try one of the whole leaf tobacco blends, good start)
cutting board (take the wife's, buy her a new one, ask her first though... )
cutter for cutting the leaves (pizza roller, chaveta, ulu etc.. )
Sharp scissors, always come in handy to cut tips off etc..
Scotch or your favorite drink to enjoy as you are rolling, may make it less frustrating at first.
Watch lots and lots of cigar rolling videos. Search the site for more or the internet.

I followed this guys (Michael Stewart) method for a little while then changed to the Entubado style (above video) which gives better results smoke wise but more skill required.

If you enjoy it and want to get into it then buy a Chaveta and mold although I don't think mold is required unless you want to give cigars out to friends as gifts and such or if you really want professional looking.

And have fun.

I second what buck said, I started about 5 months ago watching those videos. After a month, I switched to Entubado style. The "Book Method" by Michael Stewart is the best way to start. I use paper towels, the corner is folded at a 45* angle, just like the binder and wrapper.

I am going to buy a professional mold from http://www.WholeLeafTobacco.com and it's also the Best place to buy Cigar Leaves. Some of their Seco's are good enough for binder/wrapper, which is good for practicing (you can always re-roll a wrapper when you get rolling down better). Nicaraguan Habano Seco is one of the best for that. So is Dominican binder (it's real medium bodied, dark wrapper). I'd recommend adding Piloto Seco to any blend, it can cool down a blend.
