Sounds good guys. I am short on cash right now so these designs will give me a mold to use. My cigars are looking okay but it will be nice to have a mold to give it a more polished look.

Yup it was gdaddy that uses the clamps....thabks for reposting.

Give the 2x6 a go...its basically what the professional wood molds offer but you dont need weights for compression...really easy to make

Those hose clamps look familiar. It must have been a Gdaddy video where I saw them. Your hacksaw makes a much straighter cut than my dremel. LOL

But if I did it that way, they would all turn out the same size. Couldn't have that!

I've been sort of slowly, in fits and starts, hacking up a very nonprofessional, experimental mold for box pressing. (Cuz square cigars look cool.) Should be able to test drive it this week. Then I'll post some pics. Should be good for a chuckle.
