Anyone know the wattage of the Powermatic Shredder?

They are under warrenty. I could have bought the cheap Chinese bearings but considering the machine already had them in it when it failed. No name on the bearing. I bought a good brand Name one. I am not the only one that has had this problem with there newest model machine. They bust when the blades are locked up from sitting and you go to start it.
They redesigned the bearing plate that holds the two outboard bearings.
The plate is thin, not the width of the bearing and I think that is what is blowing up the race under pressure.

I had Jim(buddy) hook up a KW meter on His. It showed 136, empty and 172 loaded to max. He said it sounded like an ice cream maker bog down when done.That is one heck of a motor. I can see why the gears need constant grease care.

Bt ...so is powermatic shipping out replacement bearing plate only or also the bearings and bearing plate.

The plate comes with 2 new bearings pressed in the new designed plate.
