Many of the folks who store leaf in cardboard boxes live in relatively humid environments. You'll just have to experiment with your specific conditions.

I've found this statement to be very true, Bob.

I decided to trim off the bottom leaves to help spur growth, and hung the leaves inside. Most of the leaves that were hung turned yellow and then brown pretty quick, and the ones I put in a cardboard box as a test had a 50/50 chance of the same result.

Being in Arizona, where the humidity is usually low, the "box" doesn't work as well.

Yeah I've misted them several times, and they're still fairly dry to the touch. I'll check them again in the morning. Gotta get some storage totes tomorrow, to keep them in. I'm not as panicky as I was about them a couple of days ago, after spending the last couple of days on here reading. I've came to the conclusion that it will be OK as long as I keep an eye on them, and do what I need to do.
