Well the Costello negro....and the. Brown&Williams..

Seeds are barely sprouting..I may have 5 sprouts of one kind & 5 of the other..so I may just plant more of my other strains...

I did get all my small veggie seed planted...tomatoes..bell.sweet.jalepeno peppers.eggplant.

My 4 ft. CFLs aren't doing me no good...the shelf's I got are 4/ft wide..so they won't fit in there..but I got some 2 ft fixtures... When I start putting these future plants in their own individual cups to grow.before going in the garden,.I'm gonna have a lot of cups.I may construct a temporary greenhouse for all that.

If you can get more of the Costello Negro going I highly recommend it. I was gifted some leaf samples that air cured to a bright yellow. It air cured to the color that the flue cure guys are shooting for by flue curing. It was one of the best single variety smokes I've ever tried. It was wonderful in a cigarette by itself, but too mild for my daily smoke, I go full throttle. It is a flue cure variety that tastes like a flue cure/oriental blend, but with out blending.

I'm gonna grow all of it I can...if nothing else I'll get a lot of seed..and grow it massively next year

well last night i started some more strains,,,, simply because some of the strains i had going arent doing too good, '' very little germination''

i started...

..big-gem
shariza [ turkish ]
va. gold
silk-leaf
silver-river
shamos-si-darf [ turkish ]
pi 405568 oriental turkey

and i blew a bearing out of my rear pulley on the tiller, [ its very old ] gotta get that fixed immediatlly.

i think this year, ill use my normal row marking flags, along with some marking tape tied to each plant.

still spinning the idea of a greenhouse/curing chamber.

Looks like your off to a good start (except for the tiller). I hope we have a good grow this year an avoid the mistakes we made last season.

gotcha. When I worked in the field there was lots of opportunity to get into some of these areas off the beaten path and get oranges and grapefruits. I can't remember where they are now -- some of them probably gone.

We go to a local park that appears to have been part of an old grove/homestead. There are lots of orange/tangerine trees hidden in the woods.

well today i planted some more strains.. im figuring.. i have a lot of seed,, and i may need to refresh some of it.... plus most of the strains i got going.. ive never smoked.... so some strains i may only grow 10 plants of..but im gonna try to grow at least 10 of each strain,,, depending on how much room i got left over,, because certain strains that i know are good for my cigg. blend will be plentifull... and what room is left over, im gonna throw ''questionable'' strains..

today i started,

..bamboo-shoot
african-red
prilep
kelly burley
havana 211
white stock burley..

i have perhaps 10 more strains im gonna get going...

plus i plan on sitting up at the flea market to sell some of these plants... after im all planted of course.

i got 2 tiers of my 5 tier shelf. loaded with starting trays.. and my flouresent grow lights hung..

soon ill set up tier #3 with lights... and start loading it up with seedlings..

proablly this weekend im gonna be seperating some strains.. into a 72 hole seed starting tray...

i dont know what the future holds but if i fill up this 5 tier stand i have.... ill be moving everything out to my camper, and possiblly be using the 400 watt h.i.d. light i got. to grow everything under,

tonight im gonna use a big planting pot, and seperate it into 5 sections... with 4'' tall hard plastic.

making a star shape in the soil with plastic.

ill be doing 2 big pots planting..

havana k-2
vavilov
moldovan 456
helena
pa broadleaf [ filler]
petite havana
maryland 609
df 485 tenn. dark
penn. red
14l8 burley

and that will be seeds from every seed i have in my arsenal.. ill be bagging 2 of each strain i get in the ground

the 2'nd tier of the starting area has been filled, im working on the lights of the 3'rd tier, i got to put a new ballast in the 4 tube assemblly

and this weekend im sure ill be seperating seeds from the big pot's to thier individual cell's in a starting tray

..IMG_20150212_202530887_HDR.jpg

i may have to fire up the 400 watt h.i.d.

the lights are ready and the growroom / kiln is empty,

Good looking list. Sky really bragged on the Moldavian 456. I'm interested in what you think about it after you try some. I'll also be growing the Maryland 609, Penn Red, and PA Broadleaf that you have on your list. The Prilep is great in a cigarette blend.

Have you grown the helena before? I will be growing it this year and would like to know if you liked it, how did it smoke?
