A review of BrownThumbs flue cured

I was visiting BrownThumbville a couple weeks ago and was gifted some samples a he said to post a review if i wanted to,I have tried hickory pryor, frog eye orinoco,gold dollar, and bonanza.The hickory pryor is very sweet in flavor with a medium amount of nicotine It is best suited for a blend, by itself the scent when fired up is like burning sugar.The frog eye is very similar just a bit less sweet would also use in a blend.Gold dollar is about half as sweet with low to med nicotine and would make a good single strain cigarette.And finally Bonanza about the same sweetness and nicotine level would also make a good smoke all by itself,hope this helps if anyone is interested in growing these varieties

How would you compare the Hickory Pryor with WLT's Brightleaf? Sweeter?, less? the same?

Yes sweeter like someone cased it with sugar but i know Tom didn't

Thank You for posting the taste Greg Since I can't.
I have no taste buds left, let alone I smoke menthol.
For anyone that doesn't Know, all this tobacco has been Flue Cured.
I cannot say if you will get the same results air curing it.

that gold dollar does sound like a good plant,

what were the leaves like,?

big producer,?

because when we prime i like to do it, a wheelbarrow load at a time,

It was one of my better producers.
I will grow it again this yr.
You should have no problem filling the wheelbarrel up.
