Plenty. Some standard combos would include: (1) Flue cured mixed with Latakia and Turkish leaf, (2) Flue Cured mixed with Perique, (3) Straight Burley, (4) Straight Turkish. The combinations are almost endless. A blend that contains Virginia Brightleaf, Latakia and Prilep is going to taste vastly different compared to a blend that contains Virginia Brightleaf, Latakia and Samsun Maden. Replace the Samsun Maden with another Turkish such as Bucak and you will change the flavor again.

My staples for pipes tobacco are: Little Dutch, Samsun Maden, Bucak, Tekekoy, Virginia Brightleaf, Perique and Latakia.

James, are you asking for flavorings, or different types of tobacco to use or grow?

I am asking about flavors for pipe smoking not for tobacco grow.

If you are not growing, then your selection is limited to the whole leaf available for purchase. Don has some nice selections at www.wholeleaftobacco.com. Including real Latakia whole leaf: http://wholeleaftobacco.com/Latakia_c14.htm

You can make your own Perique and Cavandish at home:

Some of the guys are working on a way to duplicate Latakia at home: http://fairtradetobacco.com/threads/5016-Making-Latakia-at-Home
