What strain of air cured get the darkest leaf color when finished? I understand that he amount of humidity at time of color curing will darken or lighten the leaf depending on the temp and humidity in the air while drying. I also understand that priming position and amount of fertilizers can alter the ending color and curing time but if all is the same what types or strains turn the darkest color after curing?

I grew several "dark air" types last year, and for me Black Mammoth was the best performer and cured well. The shredded leaf actually had a dark pipe tobacco looking color.

I am growing both of those at the moment. This will be fun to see. I am looking for a way to get a almost black wrapper naturally. I have come close to the color I seek from Con Broadleaf after several fermentations but not quite what I am looking for.
