fertilizer for tobacco garden question.

Is green light brand 20-20-20 all purpose plant food a good fertilizer to use for my tobacco plants?

Iv heard of using 20-10-20 but not much on 20-20-20. Seen it at home depot website, wondering if it would work.

Contains: Nitrogen, Phosphate,Potassium , Chelated iron and Chelated zinc.

I would be cautious of using any fertilizer without a soil test. If it was me, and I did not know what the nutrient levels were in my soil I would use this at half strength Tobacco typically does not need much "P" which is why you've heard of using 20-10-20. Also, if it contains Potassium Chloride (aka Muriate of Potash) I'd steer clear. You do not want to be adding chlorine to your soil.
