Well I know I have seen comments about tobacco bugs, beetles and aphids, but while I was sitting outside this morning enjoying moving some little plants from a seed tray to the seedling pots I had to battle a sheep who thought my little seedlings looked exceptionally yummy.
Does that classify as a first?
I know the buggers will tear off and eat an entire large leaf in seconds flat if they get into the area where I am growing they did so last year.

Well its now two months since I started off my seeds. Today thinned them down to one or two plants per cell except for my Havana 503B which still has one tiny live plant in the ten cells allocated to that variety :)
Some of my seedlings are a nice size a lot are still what I consider tiny so maybe next year should start them a month earlier (note to self)
Hopefully they will be of size to get into the ground in November.
Ben how are your seeds and seedlings going?
All my varieties are progressing al abet slower than I would have liked.
Looking forward to getting them into the ground.
My tobacco from last year which is only cigarette tobacco is I must say yummy and still prefer the Vera Cruz tubes.
