I have a lot of tobacco that I ordered for cigars so I am wondering if I could use some of those for chewing tobacco. I have Volado, Seco, wrapper, binder, ligaro.
wondering what the glycerine, maltose and dextrose do in the loose leaf chew ingredient breakdown. sucrose(sugar) and sodium chloride(salt) I can understand.
I wonder how little dutch would make as a loose leaf chew...hmmm?
Glycerine functions as a mold inhibitor but it also enhances "mouth feel". Dextrose is another name for glucose so it's function is probably as a sweetener. Not sure why maltose is used, probably to alter the taste slightly.
