I have flue-cured burley, and the result was not particularly good. One issue with white-stem burleys is that the leaves yellow before the other necessary metabolic processes of senescence have run to completion (because they have a genetic chlorophyll defect). So in a flue-cure chamber, it looks ready to move from yellowing to wilting, but may need additional time (who knows how much).

My result was pretty raw stuff. My guess is that you can't fix it at yellow, and still have properly cured leaf.

Give it a try, and report back.

My local tobacco co-op did that a few years ago . They brought in four flue barns and tried flue curing Burley .
It was only done one year as it was a big flop .
