My boss bought a 4 foot fixture and is growing Tomato's and peppers and some other stuff
I sent him a picture of my set up and he is going to build me a fixture stand from aluminum
I made mine from wood scraps that were laying around the house.
How long ago did you start those chicken ?
Mine are at 7 days in a closed jar then put in the Peat Moss pads yesterday.

I also have KY16 Big White Burley 1951 but have had no luck germinating this one so far.

Tekwyzrd is sending me some really old "white burley KY 16" to try and germinate.
These 1951 seeds, I believe, are the "Big White Burley KY16" seeds that FmGrowit sent to me. I'm on method 5, attempting to germinate them, so far without success. There are apparently newer stocks of KY16, though there is some debate as to whether it is the same variety as the older batch.

So far as I can determine, no-one has successfully germinated the 1951 KY16, but it may be a pointless exercise if the KY16 you are growing is the same thing.

Purely to germinate rare seeds how about getting a length of cloth and setting up a wick system to a couple seeds at a time. Should keep it moist without soaking it too much

On the detail page, click on Observations (near the bottom). PLTHGTTOP is the height in cm of topped plants. (If you hover over the "descriptor" abbreviation, it will pop a tooltip that explains its meaning.) I confess having to use http://www.onlineconversion.com to convert the units to inches or feet.

2.54 Centimeters to an inch
208 to 238 = 6.8 foot to 7.8 foot
Sounds like how tall my Green Brior Burley gets or an average of 7 foot two inches
Now what does your research say about Leaf Size ?

I thought we already figured 1 housefly per cm. Are you cutting yours in half. You aint pulling no wings are ya.;)
