The weather is projected to warm slightly toward the latter part of the week - mid 60's to low 70's during the day, high 40's at night. Perhaps most importantly, the nearly constant rain we've had is supposed to slow and we might actually get some sun! The seedlings are really starting to get into each other's way at this point.
Can these go into the ground this weekend?

Use a sharp scissor to clip ~2/3 of each leaf that shades a neighbor. Wait for ideal weather projected for at least a week.

Wow man, they are looking great. You'll need some hedge clippers for this haircut..lol. So green and healthy.

I don't know about ideal weather, but all of next week is projected to be sunny or mostly sunny with a chance of rain on Thursday. I'm thinking of planting on Sunday. Is is smart to give them one more trim before that time?

Are they hardened off yet.
They look nice but a little small for planting.

I was planning to set them out this week to acclimate them. What's the best way to do this?

Set them out under a shady tree that will block most of the direct sunlight especially noon light.

Slugs were the main problem for mine, always. I see that I get the seedlings as big and strong as possible for this reason.
This year I started mine at the end of February (a bit later than the years before, because too early the soil temperature is normally still low, resulting in stalled growth, and I have to wait anyway for late frosts). I planted out 2 days ago (2 weeks after the last leaf trimming) and gave them the night before another good soaking (with a light fertilizer in the water). The first day was sunny, the second rainy. They have grown already.

Great news. Got a pic? Would love to see them.

For some reason, the forum isn't allowing me to upload pics! I can choose a file, but the button to "upload" is missing...thoughts?
Edit: Got it through "manage attachments" ...

Maybe a glitch. If the pic is large it won't load. I usually resize all pics to 640x480 or close to that size. Glad ya got it working. Nice job. They are very healthy. Not much longer till garden time.

There looking good, another week or two they will be ready.
Slugs will mow them over quick that small.
A good Haircut really stimulates the growth.

Good :)
I wonder, how much space you left between the plants in the raised bed ?

I will soon put my plants in the ground too, but I let them grow a little bit more, I want them to have enough strengh :)
