The entire interview is good, but starting at about 24:45 he talks about the Havana Seed CT 142. The history seems a bit off, but his description of 142 as a variety among numbered Havana varieties indicates he was working with 142 as a pre-existing variety. That means the quote I posted is erroneous - either he misspoke (not likely), or some bonehead editor spliced things together and it came out wrong. Or it could mean when he said that the Havana 142 was the culmination of his efforts, he was speaking in shorthand about the cigar itself.
Now that it's all said and done...anyone here try using 142 as a wrapper?
