That arrangement is clever. My greatest concern is the lack of soil depth within the bottle caps. I would transfer individual seeds to their growing location as soon as a cotyledon erupts.

Yes, even the past year I transfer the seed when the cotyledon were green in individual pot.
Today, After 24h, the Aztec seed begin to show a withe root!

That's a pretty unique and effective way to crack seed.

This is the "ciennepi seed bank".
A Little glass jar with the mini paper envelope holding the seed and a handful of rice dryed in a little pan over the gas unti it lose all the steam and begin to brown.
It is holding an air umidity lower than 10% even after an year.

After three days the winning is Aztec Rapa Nui from northwood seed.
But all the other are sprouting good.

Good idea to keep your seeds with dry rice !
Rustica strains always seem to sprout sooner than other nicotiana strains

Today outside is -12,3°C and snowing! Alpine will be even colder.
But the sprouts are cozy warm

Outside is always snowing but inside 36 sprouts of 4 strains have find they new home.

They go in pair of two trays under 2 desk lamp with 20W led.

The Aztec (3 seedling in top right corner) is rushing big.

After 40 days the growning begin to run faster.
One thing that I have not understood yet is when to clip the sprouts.
Do you think its time?

The largest of your plants look ready for a trim. I usually start clipping my plants when the leaves cross over the center point of neighboring plants and begin to shade them. I cut off about 2/3 of the largest few leaves, making sure to leave at least two new leaves in the center uncut.
