Boom! The blossom color matches your nose. So either you and the plant are both Scottish, or you and the plant are both N. tabacum. I suppose it could be 50:50. Definitely not N. rustica. So that narrows it down to about 3000 possible N. tabacum varieties.

Really great pictures. But from those we can tell that it ain't alot of variants. But it is pretty hard to tell that it for shore is one specific variant is hard..I really hope that it is a good tasting variant!

I shall carry on and see what happens even though the variety remains a mystery. The growing of it has been fun and much easier than I thought it would be....the curing and fermentation process will I suspect be another matter. We'll see what happens.
