A few pounds of Basma available

Someone was asking for Basma after it was sold out. I found a small box of it a couple days ago and listed it on the site. I have no idea if I'll ever be able to get any more.

Yes, it is being grown, but big tobacco usually buys all of it at specially discounted prices and big tobacco doesn't sell it until it is made into a tobacco product i.e. cigarettes, pipe tobacco etc.

The Izmir we received yesterday is from the 2011 crop year and looks much more like Basma than any other Izmir I've ever stocked. If anyone wants the new Izmir, just put a note in the special instructions asking for the 2011 crop year.

I can't wait to give that a try, going to be using it for a Frog morton clone that requires a basma note
