Germination Failure (dropped the ball, sort of speak)

After waiting 3 weeks for germination to begin, I thought I would move my "crop-to-be" to another location. Upon doing so, I dropped them all on top of my washing machine. What a mess.

Should germination have taken place by 3 wks?

Probably time to start over with the seed. Most varieties germinate within a week at room temperature. I'm not sure how long your growing season is in your locale, but its planting time here in Virginia. Restarting the seed will add at least another 4 weeks, more likely 6. You might also consider ordering some transplants from BigBonner for this season. You can have them in the ground by the weekend. Just PM BigBonner, if you're interested.

I live in coastal So. Cal where the growing season is 300+ days.
