Again, I'm afraid I have no idea why the images are that way round. If anyone can help me figure it out I'd be very grateful!

Can I ask why do you take the entire plant and don't prime the ripe leafs as usually do letting the other to mature further?

Congratulations. Be sure to keep the humidity up. Some of those leaves look like they could have stayed on the plant a while longer and might take a while to cure.

From time to time, I have a stalk or part of a stalk snap off early in the season. I've found that it will usually cure well, so long as it remains on the stalk while curing. It's sometimes a slow process. If you can get immature leaf to cure, the primary difference between that and more mature leaf is the nicotine strength and intensity of aroma--the early leaf being milder in both regards.
