• Dear Guest,

We've been using a forum format called vBulletin for over seven years and the program is no longer being developed, so that means no more updates or security patches. vBulletin has never been compatible with search engine optimization and it does not support the multitude of various devices most people use to access the internet, so it's time to say goodbye to vBulletin.

For these reasons we have moved our forum to a new format that will support and encourage growth for the next generation of grower and DIY tobacco users.

VA red tips

leaf quality = okay.. as don advertises.

packaged well and not full whole leaf...BUT the leaf portions were of good enough size = as advertised

taste= good to very good = best to describe it as a "light" VA red, definite high sugar content and has depth but a light depth in comparison of virginia red

so enough comparing it to v red

within itself, this is a very good leaf, by itself or blended with a flue cured VA/burley/ prilep blend, definitely fills in a nice flavor/kick gap ..

adds an extremely welcome flavor depth, best described as a light VA red version.

overall .. very pleased.

may add to this as i get to know it a bit longer than a few days

I mostly smoke a bright/lemon blend.
Tho sometimes, i add a topping of red tips into the blend for a little extra strength, or kick.
At 10-15 %, it adds a welcome spice to the mix.

A little bit goes a long way.
