Smoked another quarantine corona ish cigar today. I can’t remember exactly how old it is, but I’m sure it’s older than yesterday, the days all seem the same! Hopefully this is over soon, I’m getting cabin fever.

Interestingly, i smoked a “premium” 13$ Padilla stick today as well. I can definitely say my homerolled stick was much better for my tastes. The Nic habano fillers are great and the corojo oscuro wrapper takes it to a new level.

@Jim D

F: Piloto Cubano Ligero, T-13 Viso, Corojo Seco

B: Vuelta Abajo

W: Honduras Cuban Seed

Next I'm going to roll some with Corojo Obscuro and Rosado wrappers.
Thank you. I found it back on page 172...I don't think I have that specific binder so may substitute in the Dominican binder, hopefully with similar results.

Thanks for sharing the info @GreenDragon , I'm looking forward to rolling some of these up!

3 mimics of The Wayne and one wrapped up left overs (criollo seco from previous session and piloto ligero to see what that turns into). The left overs will be burned today at some point. The Wayne trio will get wrapped up tomorrow and head to the humidor to rest for a bit, if I can be patient enough...

This wonderful Habano was a gift from one of my brothers. Every Cuban Partagas that I have ever smoked over the decades has been harsh and way too strong for a human being to smoke. This robusto was from a different planet. The mild, rosado wrapper is perfect. Draw is excellent (expected), but the nicotine strength is medium-to-full (unexpectedly low!) and smooth as silk. It still has that rich, complex Havana tobacco character. Also, the robusto size is perfect for this strength of cigar. Any larger would be over the top for my delicate constitution.

Fully expecting to have to diplomatically praise it in an email to my brother, I had postponed smoking it for a couple of months. (It's the weather. It's the phase of the Moon. Too windy.) So, relieved, I will give it its due praise in my response to him.

The stick was sourced from a reputable tobacconist in Geneva.
