Good enough anyway. I'm going to try the foam spay today but will have to let it cure first. Got some grass to cut while that happens.Good to hear you have recovered and are back at it
If the weather let's me that is.
Also I should strip what's left of the baccy plants. Still dark out so can't tell whats happening. That'll do for today.

Yesterday I cut my grass, 2hrs riding on my little tractor. I enjoy it though and it looks good. MDF board came out thy oven and passed the test.
Now the foam.
As per the specs the max temp is: 90°c = 194°f
Test temperature is going to be: 135c = 275°f The temperature will be held for 2hrs. I'm thinking if anything was going to happen it will by then.
I have placed the sample in the oven and started the test. Time Will be set when the test temperature is reached.
Test Temperature: = 275°f
Time = 2hrs
The sample has PASSED the test. No smells and the sample has retained it's shape. It has changed colour from white to brown.
I'm going to try using this product.

Overdone things yesterday so stuck in bed today. Nevermind it's all cold and windy out so don't want to be there. So far it looks like all the products I'm going to use will be OK.
BTW your right, that was my kiln you saw in the sky. I was testing it as the plan is to hire it out all around the world. LOL. No reason why I can't get started on the building of it now. Maybe tomorrow after I've had my weekly blood tests. Gunna build a kiln. Hope I can get it right way up. Well maybe.

We are still in winter mode here, so I got no rush as well. I can assemble my fan, blower, thingy,( the one that puts it into warp speed.) I've got to build the controller house. I found a couple of humidifiers so I'll have to see if I can get them working, and I guess I'll need to get a heater of some kind. That's not as critical as there's always the old crock pot.
Small 1kw fan heaters are only around NZD $20.00 so they could be OK, very easy to control. In fact the more I think about it, it's starting to sound like the best option, I can run two if I have to. They could do a better job than my big blower thingy as they can blow hot or cold, sounds good. No electrical gadgets would be inside the kiln, one exception would be a few small LED lights so I can peek, but the voltage involved is very low 1.5v so no danger, I'd have to heat test them though. So as you can see I have still got heaps to amuse me.

They make the little battery powered LED. Wouldn't even have to mess with the electric.

Don't forget the landing lights.That could be fun. Heat testing the batteries.

We put the landing Lites on very early so I could do some test flights.
Can't do the heat test. I couldn't get in the oven.

Such a heat source that is entirely outside the chamber may work well. Inside the chamber, there is potentially an issue with an internal, safety thermostatic circuit breaker.

It will be an interesting experement. I'm going to try it out and see what happens. If it goes belly up it's only $20. I'm going to play with it out side so if it goes on fire I can get some marsh mallows, and see if I can come up with something else.
