Ok I had enough leaf to flue cure a batch. I had mostly Delhi 34 (a normal flue cure) in there with a handful of Goose Creek Red (a so called Dark Virginia). I didn't get consistent results. Some looks nice, some not so nice.

My cozy can was extra cozy. I had too much leaf crammed in there with not enough space for air to circulate and since I haven't yet figured out how I'm going to get a fan in there I have been hoping for the best. Still enough good leaf here to make it worth while I think. Its tough when it all comes ready at once.

I have never flue cured but if I remember correctly some members have encountered problems when mixing varieties in a flue run. Don’t take that as gospel, I have a memory like swiss cheese, but it may explain your results and would be worth pursuing further to find out for sure.

It was pretty wild, I had different stalk levels and therefore different leaf thicknesses.. different sizes.. just nuts in there. It was packed pretty tight.

I received a care package of flue cured Goose Creek Red from @Radagast . I plan on presenting photos and tasting notes this weekend. It sure looks like proper flue cured tobacco to me. It has a strong aroma. I'll think more about how to describe it for the review.
I hope i didn't miss any dog hair or anything.. he's like a hair machine gun and the sticky leaves are just magnetic for them as they grow. And do be honest.
