Having hornworm problems with the tobacco plants and grasshoppers. Any problems or concerns with using Sevin on them? Any advice on the spray or the dust?

You're digging up a bunch of very old threads.

BT is an "organic" preparation of Bacillus thuringiensis. It is harmless to everything but caterpillars.

It's available as "ready to use" or as a concentrate. I discuss it in my 2019 grow log.

Thanks. I already topped most of it 360 plants, aphids not too bad but am in the middle of my single seasonal Imidacloprid/suflur-pyrethrem application, but even that might not get all the worms. I guess I'll follow up with this BT a couple weeks later. In 35 plants I found 12 hornworms, mostly still small. Never had them this bad. Possible root cause-too much nitrogen fertilizer? Maybe. Maybe not. Very fast growth. Worms mostly on Bursa, already head high, very dark green.
