I live in Southern California, and have had some amazing luck growing a variety of Tobacco. But that's where the problem lies. There is not enough humidity in the air and all my attempts at curing/drying have resulted in dry brittle leaves. Mind you last year was my first time planting...
I got a rough start to my first attempt, and I'm guessing these will be done in late October or so. We usually get a first frost in mid-November. Not the best time to try to dry something. Seems like my main issues will be temp, humidity, and airflow.
