I see them now. I don’t know if there are just late bloomers or my first batch got messed up.

The bright leaf is rocking ready for transplanting.
The bamboo shoot is rocking and rolling.
The big gem needs some viraga planted it twice and it still cant get it up.

Careful with the water. I can't see any signs of a drainage system particularly on the bottom tray. There appears to no way you can water from bottom. Otherwise they're looking great.

Yes, to pop the plastic and put a nice hole in the ground.
I still plant by hand tho.
I use my Mingo firewood marker to mark off 2 ft. Spacing also.

I like the swimming pool for transplanting.
chuck them in a bowl and give it a carefull swirl.
You get the long root also.

I going to use macho for aphids. The bottle is 3/4 full and no expiration date.
I forget what was used to get rid of the suckers anybody know?

BigBonner has said you can just pour some vegetable oil down the stem, to suppress suckers in the leaf axils. Sounds messy.

I was just thinking that it's pretty awesome that she helped. Maybe better next year. Maybe give her a C+ so she tries harder next time.

You can always use the lonely Big Gem plants to refresh your seeds. Better than nothing.
